Why should I buy template from VJ Templates?

VJ Templates offers a very competitive template price but yet more powerful, elegant and cheaper compared with osCommerce, CRE Loaded, Zen Cart, osCMax and Magento templates (sold through Templates Monster, Algozone, and some others). Perhaps you are wondering why we compared our templates to osCommerce, CRE Loaded, Zen Cart, osCMax and Magento. That's because VirtueMart competes with osCommerce, CRE Loaded, Zen Cart, osCMax and Magento as open source shopping cart softwares, and our templates are VirtueMart templates (despite the fact that our templates are also Joomla templates). Many of our customers were osCommerce, CRE Loaded, Zen Cart, osCMax or Magento users. They even have no idea of what Joomla/VM are. Since our templates have been designed specifically for VirtueMart, it will save you a lot of time from dealing with design and layout customizations. Either it is for you or your clients, you can focus more on the features/functionalities and let our templates take care of the design for you. If you design by yourself, on average people will take about 2 weeks to make a perfect completely different look and feel. Why wast your time so long if there is already an alternative to cut it short?

We designed our templates to be as tableless as possible, have more than 30 module positions that can give you high flexibility, cross browser compatible (tested in Firefox, Safari/Win, Opera, Google Chrome, IE8, IE7 and IE6/Win), and last but not the least are W3C CSS 2.1 / XHTML 1.0 Transitional compliant. W3C compliance will make your web site has better rank in search engines.

Does your template support multi language?

Yes, our templates just like other Joomla templates are independent with language meaning you can have whatever language you want. Currently Joomla supports more than 60 languages (practically even more than 100 languages are available on Joomla language pack site). Compared with osCommerce, CRE Loaded, Zen Cart or osCMax that support only 3 languages (Spanish, English, German) and even Magento only supports 3 languages as well (English, German, French). With Joomla/VirtueMart you can have customers from all over the world no matter what language they speak.

If I purchase the template, can I remove the copyright notice on the footer?

Yes, you may remove the copyright notice on the footer, but you are not allowed to remove copyright notices that are coming inside the original files.

Is there a support and installation manual if I buy the template?

Yes, there is 3 months free support through our user forum, besides free service to make image text modifications. The complete step by step installation manual is included in the package. Feel free to contact us if you have any question before making any purchase.

If I purchase the template, will I get the PSD files as well?

The PSD or Photoshop file is not included in the package. But for just another $20 you can have the PSD Photoshop file (font is not included). Besides we also give free service for image text modification such as logo text, image button text, etc. Please contact us for any question you might have to make sure it will work well with your site. Remember, there is no refund once you have purchased.

Can the template be used for Joomla 1.5 sites without VirtueMart?

Yes. All the templates were designed to work on both Joomla 1.5 and VirtueMart 1.1. Although we do not really recommend it (because not only it will be just wasting your money but also the templates have been designed mainly for VirtueMart layouts), but yes you still can use it on Joomla 1.5 sites. Please note that we do not guarantee that if you buy the template today then it will work with future version of Joomla or VirtueMart. A lot of modifications must be made to be compliant with every version.

The template I purchased didn't work or screwed up my site, can I refund it?

Unfortunately no. Since the products that we sell (templates) are non-tangible irrevocable goods, we do not issue refund after the product is purchased, which you are responsible for understanding upon purchasing any template at our site. Please make sure that you have carefully read and understand our policies before making any purchase.

As we have stated above that our templates have been tested under clean installation of Joomla 1.5 and VirtueMart 1.1. We are seeing no reason that our template will screw up your site if you have followed the installation manual properly and post any question in the forum.

Is the template for frontend only or both frontend and backend?

The template is only for frontend display. All the administrator images that are included in the package are from the default template from VirtueMart. We think the most important is the frontend side, that's where your customer will see how your online store looks like. Please make sure that you are aware and know about this issue before making any purchase.

Can I use the template I bought for more than one web site?

Unfortunately no. The purchase of the template will only grant you the right to use on one web site (URL) only. To use on more than one web site (URL) you have to purchase it again.

Can I use the template I bought on a different web site instead of the one I filled in when I purchased?

This is different case by case. Please make sure you put the right URL when you purchase the template. We suggest to not make any purchase until you know the URL where you want to use template on.

Do you accept any currency other than US Dollar?

Even though the shown price is in US Dollar, however our payment processor Paypal will automatically convert your currency into US Dollar. In other words, you don't have to worry about the currency. As long as you use major credit cards or Paypal account, the transaction should be transparent for you.

Is the shown price a unique price or a shared price?

It is a shared price, meaning since you only purchase the right to use but not own the template itself, then any other people can buy the same template like you did. If you want to solely own the template, you have to purchase with unique price. Please contact us to quote a unique price.

Is there a demo account that I can use on the demo site?

Yes, the demo username is "demo" and the password is "demo" (both without quotes).

If I purchase a template, can I have it customized?

If you want to customize the template by yourself, you are free to do so as long as it is only for the web site that you entered during the purchase. You can also replace the header with your image slideshow module or flash module by simply enabled the module on "header" position. The header will be automatically replaced by your slideshow module or flash module or whatever module that you put on "header" position.

If you want us to make the change for you, small minor customizations is provided for free. For image or major customizations, you can contact us to discuss the details of customizations. Fees are varied depend on how complex the customization is.

Rather than wasting my time, can I have the site and database backup of your demo site for the template I want to purchase?

A lot of this question came to us. At first, we didn't provide that, but due to high demand for such request, we decided to offer this as a solution to you who do not want to waste your time doing all the settings and setups on a new Joomla/VM installation. However, this solution is impossible to be applied on a current live site.

Due to high flexibility of Joomla and high complexity of VirtueMart by nature, it is not easy to get a custom look like our demo sites. A lot of tricks, settings and setup must be done to achieve that. So by simply restoring the database and site backup of our demo site for the template you would like to purchase, you will save a lot of time and energy. Please contact us if you want to quote the price of the backup package.

Technical Related

After I purchased the template, why can't I download the package?

To avoid fraudulent purchases, we decided to only send the package by email to your Paypal email upon your successful payment. Also despite your successful payment, Paypal will still need time to review and verify the transaction. Because of this, we will only send the template after at least one hour since your last successful payment. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Are the module positions collapsible?

Yes, modules Top1 - Top4, User1 - User9 and Bottom1 - Bottom4, all are fully collapsible meaning if for example you use only Top1 position then the module will occupy the whole width. If for example you are using Top1 and Top2 positions, the template will automatically divide the width into two. In addtion to that, all module positions including left, right, adverts, etc that are not in used will automatically not be displayed in the layout.

Why don't I get the confirmation email?

We suggest to not use public free email such as Yahoo or Hotmail. If you do, please check your Spam folder, and if it is there then move it to your Inbox folder. We never make any spam, but somehow and sometimes Yahoo (or Hotmail) redirects our email to Spam folder.
